WANSTROW AND CLOFORD COMMUNITY PARISH PLAN 2023
A review of the Parish Plan for Wanstrow and Cloford, which was published in 2009, was started at the Big Conversation, a community lunch held on 16th February 2020 in Wanstrow Village Hall. The Covid-19 Pandemic prevented further progress on the review. Support was offered to Wanstrow Parish Council in 2022 by the Smart Communities Team (part of the Community Council for Somerset) to write a new Parish Plan. A group of volunteers led by Helen Johns and Liz Sargent started work to develop two surveys, which built on information gathered from the 110 residents who attended the lunch as well as for asking questions to give the Parish Council an overview of the population of Wanstrow and Cloford (including Leighton and Holwell).
