Councillors and Staff will abide by the Nolan principles, the Council’s other policies and relevant legislation when using social media or electronic communication in performing their duties. Complaints about failure to adhere to those standards will be dealt with as any other complaint. Wanstrow Parish Council does not take responsibility for comments made by volunteers, but if a complaint is made that is upheld, the Council will cease to use the services of that volunteer.
The Parish Clerk will normally be the webmaster for the Parish Council website. Any Councillor may supply content for publication but the Chair may remove or require removal of any inappropriate or inaccurate content immediately, sending an explanation to the originator, and the matter shall be discussed at the following Parish Council meeting.
